无色澄清液体，有类似乙醇的气味。可燃。熔点- 127℃；沸点97.2℃；能与水、醇、醚、烃等多种溶剂混溶。正丙醇的化学性质与其他低分子量脂肪族伯醇相似。能与水、乙醇和乙醚混溶。其蒸气与空气形成爆炸性混合物，遇明火、高热能引起燃烧爆炸。与氧化剂能发生强烈反应。

Colorless, clear liquid with an ethanol-like odor. Combustible. Melting point - 127 °C; Boiling point 97.2 °C, miscible with water, alcohol, ether, hydrocarbon and other solvents. The chemical properties of n-propanol are similar to those of other low molecular weight aliphatic primary alcohols. It is miscible with water, ethanol and ether. Its vapor forms an explosive mixture with air, which causes combustion and explosion in case of open flame and high heat energy. It can react strongly with oxidants.
